I don’t remember!!

I have so many seizures that I got a job at Home Depot mixing paint.

Anyone with a chronic condition must be able to laugh about it once in a while or it will get to you. My condition causes short term memory loss. Every time we pick out a movie to watch, I pick one that looks really good only to hear Heather tell me that we watched it a couple of weeks ago.

I have no clue about what we’ve watched, which is actually a good thing because for me there are never any reruns and every movie is fresh. There are more benefits to my memory loss too. I can hide my own Easter eggs and wrap my own Christmas presents and still be surprised.

It’s strange how the brain works. I can remember details from long ago. Names, places, things I did that landed me in jail (just kidding, those I subconsciously block out). But I can’t remember much of what I did last month. Crazy. Wait a minute. You don’t suppose Heather just says we already watched a movie I pick out because she just doesn’t want to watch it? Heather, you have some ‘splainin to do!
