When my little brother was really young, my mom told us that since he was getting bigger now, we were going to need to move to a different house. I said, “I don’t know if that’s a good idea. He’s crawling pretty fast now, he’ll probably follow us.”
Last week, although the circumstances were far less than ideal, there were healing of relationships with a couple of my siblings. I’ve written about the struggles that plague most families which divide them and ours was certainly no exception.
Healing is such a good thing. It normally involves forgiveness and compromise, which are each great components in life. There is still one who is a hold out, due to things that happened that were pretty severe. I hope those wounds will heal in time. It would be great to have a family reunion without bloodshed.
