I can’t fit!!

We have 1,326 magnets on our refrigerator. And we don’t even have kids! We have grandkids but their pictures are all in frames so why in the world do we need so many magnets? The truth is we don’t and it’s really quite stupid. I just get the things in the mail or in a bag where I bought things from a store and feel obligated to put them up. I have so many magnets that one day the refrigerator door is going to fall off.

I even have magnets from companies who have long since gone out of business. How stupid is that? I have so many that when I open the fridge, Half empty soup cans are stuck to the inside of the inside of the door.

You would think that with all of the time on my hands, (that’s kind of a weird saying don’t you think?), I could find a way to have some fun with all of these magnets. Like maybe I could put them on the side of Heather’s car. On the side she never sees. I think I’m gonna do that. That might be fine until she gets mad. I’m gonna do it anyway.

I wonder how long it would take for someone to steal them all. They seem to be so valuable to everyone I think some people would find themselves compelled for no good reason to take them home and put them on their fridge. I’ll let you know how it goes. If you don’t hear from me for a while it means that they have put me back in the psych ward. Click here for more than 1,600 FREE short and funny blogs!

  1. Fridge magnets!
Pictures of 20th to 21st century history that you can wipe clean, never fall off where you put them and no hassle hanging them up. What’s there not to like? If you covered your entire fridge with them and Andy Warhol was still around he would be at your door begging to take photos and then giving you cash so you could buy another two fridges to fill those up too.
I love those ones which are replicas of the old metal advert frames which were hammered into walls and stayed there for years and years.
Having them all over a car would be so cool, but there would be bound to be one cop who could find a traffic violation relating to fridge magnets.
    Keep collecting those fridge magnets!

  2. You have definitely got me beat! I thought I had a lot, but I counted tonight, and it’s only 16, and at least half of those are actually serving a useful purpose, holding up notes about things I need to do or buy … notes that are so old they’re growing fur! I doubt I need to worry any longer about buying new feathers for the old feather duster that wore out 20 years ago, eh?
