I just got home from the hospital (I don’t know why we say ‘the hospital’. I’m pretty sure there’s more than one.) I was there for eight days. What kind of hospital? Well let’s just say that they don’t let you use your cell phone and keep all sharp objects away from you.
Yes, that place. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had spiraled into a very dark place, although I must say that my good friend, Dan Marino would be proud because it was a perfect spiral. Um, plus I’ve really never even met Marino, but he doesn’t have a clue about that, therefore we are best budds.
Thanks to the wonderful care of the entire staff, I’m much better now! I’m so grateful for all of them, especially Dr. Mackey, David, Chase, John, Chris, Kylie and a wonderful nurse who’s name escapes me right now but she reminds me of our friend Dawn. You know who you are. (duh!)

The experience, although long, was so beneficial. I know! I feel so much better. I think the seizures will continue, however I learned some amazing coping skills and life style changes. I’m excited to bring then home and kick the tires (Really? That’s the best I’ve got?) until I find just the right combination. Wish me luck! I’ve missed you all.

God Bless and protect you Jerry.
This post took courage.
With you all the way here, some times, some how ‘it’ sneaks up, when least expected.
And yet you still have your humour.
Again God Bless and protect you.
Best wishes

Keep on keeping on Jerry.
(As a man it is your natural right to grumble and blame the nearest electrical appliance, but still Keep on Keeping On)
God Bless You and protect you.
