Does anyone know of a diet plan where you can eat all of the holiday leftovers so you’re not throwing out good food and at the same time lose two pounds a day? I’m uh, asking for a friend.
I lost about seven pounds before Thanksgiving and gained it back. Ugh! I’m sure that happens to many of us. I think, “OK, I can loosen up a little on Thanksgiving day and then get right back on track.” Right. I cook a 19 pound turkey and Heather cooks all of the delicious side dishes. Oh, and the world’s greatest pumpkin bread and sugar cookies. Plus the pies!
F’get about it. So today I start over. Counting healthy calories and getting exercise to lose some weight before Christmas. Then it starts all over again. I have to keep up the good fight until the end of the year if I have any chance of losing 20 pounds by our 20th anniversary on February 7th. I can do it!
Then we’ll go on a trip for the anniversary and gain much of it back again. But from mid February until Thanksgiving next year, I must be diligent or risk resembling Jabba the Hut, of Star Wars fame. It must come off!
Wait, that means all things in moderation. I hate moderation!! I want cheeseburgers, pizza, pastrami, corned beef, fries, steak… I want it all! Does anyone know of a diet plan where you can eat cheeseburgers, pizza, pastrami, corned beef, fries and steak and still lose a couple of pounds per day?
I am so screwed.
