Republicans & Democrats are like divorced parents who care more about getting the kids to hate the other one than they are their well-being.
This is the weirdest election of my lifetime, bar none. Donald Trump certainly plays a heavy role in that but really, all of the candidates have. The Republicans have had no choice but to come to grips with the fact that Trump will be their candidate.
Trump says whatever is on his mind, regardless of the ramifications. Many people seem to find that refreshing. Others are disgusted by it. Many fear what will happen to our country if he is elected, while others feel like we need a person who is not a life long politician in the White House.
Bernie Sanders has angered Hillary Clinton supporters by fighting to the bitter end. I admire his tenacity. And although Clinton has unofficially won the nomination, the Super Delegates don’t vote until next month. Then it will be official.
Nancy Pelosi has only now endorsed Hillary. That seems odd to me. Why wait until now? Paul Ryan took less time to endorse Donald Trump. Very interesting. It also seems like Sanders is the only “clean” candidate. No skeletons in his closet have been made known. The worst you could say about Sanders is that he looks like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons.
No matter which candidate you endorse, it’s going to be a very interesting summer and fall on the political front this year. I officially announced my candidacy about a week ago as a write in candidate. I think you should vote for me. The first thing I would do is strengthen our military, then replace North Korean peacemaker and buffoon Dennis Rodman with the much more level headed Miley Cyrus.
