Happy Birthday to You!!

I like to sing Happy Birthday to family. It was our daughter-in-law’s birthday last week. I sang the whole song but I dialed the wrong number. I apologized but the lady said it was ok because I needed all of the practice I could get.

Wow, the truth can be a bitter pill to swallow. Probably like cyanide, although I have no experience with it and I’m pretty sure there’s no one left to ask.

I can sing ok. That lady was most likely ticked off because I woke her from a nap or something. The nerve. I sing very well, especially in the shower. Its like a recording studio in there! In fact, I don’t know why studios don’t install them for their artists.

Its a brilliant idea. Everybody sings better in the shower. That’s a proven fact! Even better with the water on. All of the artists could sing with swim suits on. How awesome would that be for them? With today’s technology, the water sound can be taken out just leaving the beautiful voice.

And since we nearly all can sing so well in the shower, we could almost all be recording artists. Its very similar to the old way they used to record records. You would enter a telephone booth sized space, sing and instantly make a record!

The only problem I can see is for those who play instruments when they sing. I don’t think it would bode well for acoustic guitars. And what if the artist required a piano? Or even the dangerous electric guitar. That would just be crazy!

Ok, there may be a few kinks to work out but I think I’m going to check it out. This morning I will sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” while playing the bongos. I’ll let you know how it goes.

    1. I was nearly half way through when the police arrived citing the neighbors on both sides of my home, plus one from across the street reported a possible cat fight coming from my house. I got the hint. Those people are tone deaf.
