The One That Got Away!!

They say fishing is a sport. I don’t agree. Real sports get real announcers. These guys have to do it themselves.

“It’s a beautiful day, here on lake Cuchahumi. Folks don’t realize, I’ve been fishin’ Cuchahumi since I was 4 years old, so I think that gives me the home lake advantage.”

I think if it’s a sport, they should have real announcers. Like in baseball; “And now it’s Billy Joe Bim Bob’s turn on the boat. Billy Joe caught 143 bass last year, which was a career high for him. It’ll be interesting to see if he casts overhead. He likes to cast side armed now after the rotator cuff surgery.”

I love to fish, and there is certainly some strategy to it. But physical Fishing, a Sport?
